This high-level event will convene LDCs, partners and global stakeholders to present the vision for EIF Phase Three, highlight its impact to date, and mobilize partnerships and support for inclusive trade and development.
Background
The Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF) is the only multilateral partnership exclusively dedicated to assisting the LDCs in their use of trade as a pathway to sustainable development recognized by Sustainable Development Goals and Doha Programme of Action for LDCs.
Objectives of the High-level event
This high-level event, held as part of the EIF Global Forum, will offer a platform to advance strategic dialogue and mobilize partnerships in support of EIF Phase Three. Open to any partner in the trade and LDC space, including LDCs and recently graduated LDCs, funding partners, partner agencies, development banks, private sector actors, foundations, and other stakeholders, it will aim to foster wide-ranging engagement around the next phase of EIF support for the LDCs.
Participants
The High-level Platform for LDC Partnerships brings together a broad and diverse audience, including representatives from the private sector, development finance institutions, foundations, and other organizations interested in supporting inclusive and sustainable trade development in the LDCs. The event is designed to foster, networks, engagement and dialogue and encourage new forms of collaboration in the context of EIF Phase Three.
