COVID-19 has severely affected trade around the world and particularly impacted women. How can we make sure we create a space for them in trade going forward?
The EIF launched the Empower Women Power Trade initiative in 2019, aimed at supporting the LDCs towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG5) on gender. Since then, women’s economic empowerment has been at the heart of EIFs' work.
Join us in celebrating this year's International Women's Day. We will discuss the importance of creating a gender responsive trade ecosystem to help women integrate or remain in value chains in times of COVID-19.
Join the conversation on Twitter by following #WomenPowerTrade and tagging @EIF4LDCs.
This event will be simultaneously interpreted into French.
