REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES

1. The Gambia International Airlines through the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Regional Integration and Employment of the Government of The Gambia has received a Grant from the Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF) Trust Fund for the implementation of an EIF Tier 2 Trade Facilitate Project to Construct a modern Cargo facility that meets international standards at the Banjul International Airport being implemented by the Gambia International Airlines Limited (GIA). It is intended that part of these funds will be applied to eligible payments for the Design and Supervision of the Construction of the Cargo complex under the contract(s) for which this Request for Proposals is issued.
1.1 OBJECTIVES
Specifically, the objectives of this assignment are: 1.1.1 To prepare detailed Architectural and Engineering designs and detailed costing of construction works of the above mentioned complex 1.1.2 To prepare of tender documents for recruitment of a contractor for the construction of the cargo complex in accordance with GPPA regulations 1.1.3 To supervise the construction of the designed facilities
1.2 PHASING
This assignment is in two phases:
Phase 1(one): Preparation of Detailed Architectural and Engineering Design and costing for the cargo facility, preparation of tender documents for the recruitment and award of contracts
Phase II (two): Supervision of Works for the construction of the cargo facility
1.3 DURATION:
Duration for Phase I (one) is 5 months
Duration for Phase II (two) is 9 (nine) months
2. The Gambia International Airlines Ltd intends to select bidders for the following service contract under this project mentioned above.
3. A complete set of The Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the Procuring Organisation at Gambia International Airlines, Banjul International Airport Tel: 44 72 753 Fax: 44 72 750 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of GMD 25,000 (TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND DALASI) or EURO 455 or USD625.
